The Environment Committee of Grand Haven Woman's Club enjoyed a sunny, hot morning at Gamble Rogers State Park yesterday overlooking the ocean and learning about Sea Turtles. Park Services Specialist Stephanie York entertained and educated us as she recreated the trials, tribulations and triumphs of sea turtles in their efforts to reproduce and return to the ocean. After our Turtle Talk, we headed to the Beach Front Grille for lunch, catching up with each other, and planning our next trip.
GHWC members braved the elements to participate in Pink on Parade, supporting the AdventHealth Foundation. Many of our members joined, but only Sue Rotella, Awilda Hamilton and Lucie Lachance were found for this photo.
